Today we are visiting this Newly Built Temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba at Tumkur in Karnataka. This is the 5th temple to be opened in Tumkur. Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Mandira at Sri Ramakrishna Ashram Road, Amarjyothi Nagar has been newly built & has been inaugurated on 2nd Feb 2012.

A 4 days Festival Like ceremony was performed from 30th Jan 2012 till 2nd Feb 2012 & the Grand Opening of this Very Beautiful temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba was performed. Sri Sri Sri Shiva Kumara Swamigalu of Sri Siddaganga Mutt opened the temple to the Sai Devotees. 1000's of Sai Devotees, Ministers, MP's & MLA's of the Govt of Karnataka participated in the opening cremony of this temple.

Sri G S Basavaraju, M P of Tumkur Constituency is the Founder President of this temple. It took 5yrs to complete the construction of this very beautiful temple with complete art work on the ceiling of the temple along with the story of Sri Sai Baba being beautifully embossed & painted in the side wall inside the temple premises.

A Very Large granite floored hall with a seating capacity of around 1000 has been constructed & Sai Baba's Sanctum has been installed in this Hall.

A 5.5ft Makrana Marble Statue of Sri Sai Baba designed by Saysh Kala Mandir, Jaipur along with Statues of Sri Ganeshji, Shiva Parvathi, Dattatreya, Sri Rama, Lakshmana, Sita & Hanuman & Dwaraka Mai Statue of Sri Sai Baba has been installed in this temple premises. A Beautiful Wood Carving has been installed behind the Statue of Sri Sai Baba & looks elegant.

Sai Baba's Dhuni has been installed in front of Dwarakamai of Sri Sai Baba. Baba's Gurusthan along with a newly installed Neem tree has been installed to the right of the main entrance of this temple. A Statue of Shiva with nandi has also been installed at the gurusthan in front of Neem Tree.

Sanctums of Sri Ganeshji, Shiva Parvathi, Dattatreya, Sri Rama, Lakshmana, Sita & Hanuman & Dwaraka Mai Statue of Sri Sai Baba has been installed to the left of the Temple.

Sai Baba's Life has been completely depicted on the Side walls inside the temple. All the Pictures has been neatly embossed & Painted by artisans for months together.

The ceiling of the temple has also been well decorated with the embossed pictures of Elephant & Deer throughout the ceiling. Chandelier's have been well installed through out the ceiling & gives a very rich look of the temple. Completely energy efficient Lighting has been incorporated in the complete premises.

A Fountain with Sai Baba's Statue is present at the entrance of the main temple. A beautiful Gopuram has been designed on top of the temple & rises to a total height of around 75ft from the ground.

A Prasad Nilay with a Seating capacity of 100 has been built next to the Sai Baba Mandir towards the right. In whole this is one of the most beautiful temples of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba to have been built in Karnataka. It will be a welcome delight of Devotees visiting this temple. To visualise the beauty of its wonderful Designs & Construction.

I'm very happy to share with you the 132 Snaps of Sri Sai Baba taken by me today. Sai Devotees in the nearby districts & places are requested to visit this temple once & get the blessings of Sri Sai Baba. 41 Days Mandala Puja of Sri Sai Baba is been performed daily & will continue through out this month till the Mid of march 2012.
