Shirdi Sai Baba's Punya thithi was celebrated at Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple, Jayanagara (E), Tumkur in 06th Oct 2011. The Day Started with Kakad Aarti, Mangal Snan. Sheerabishekam & Panchamrutha Abhishekam was performed to Sai Baba. Asthothara Shatanamavali & other mantra's were chanted & After Noon Madhyan Aarti was performed. Naivaithya Prasad was later on Distributed to Sai Devotees present in the temple.
In the evening at around 3pm, A tractor decorated with Sai Baba's Life Size Potrait with flower was taken on a procession & returned to the temple by 6:00pm for the Dhoop Aarti. Bhajan Sandhya Followed the Dhoop aarti. At around 7:30pm, Baba's Palki utsav was performed inside the temple premises & Shej Aarti was performed to Sai Baba by 8:30pm.
Sai Devotees were given Prasad. Sona/ Shammi Patra Leaf was given as Sai Baba's Prasad. Below are a few glimpse of Sai Baba's Alankar after the Evening Dhoop Aarti was completed.
