I was invited by a Close friend of mine a Sai Devotee residing in Bangalore for the 9th Thursday Sai Vrath Puja at their home. This Puja was performed on Thursday,26th May 2011. As i had planned to visit 2 Sai Temple before going to the puja. I was late & was able to reach home for the final 2 set of Stories & the Aarti.
Sai Baba Idol & a Small Laminated Photo Frame of Sai Baba were nicely deocorated on a Simhasan. Garlands made of Jasmine, Rose & other flowers were decorated. After the initial Ganesh vandana, the Sai Vrath Puja was commenced. Sai Ashtothara Shata namavali was performed to Sai Nath. Later on Sai Baba's Stories were read. Naivaithya consisting of Sheera & full meal was given to Sai Nath & Later on Sai Baba's Madhyan Aarti was performed.
The Puja Ceremony went on very good & 11 Sai Devotees were given the thambul along with 9 Thursday Sai Vrath Book in Kannada Language.
The Day was quite peaceful & i had a total change in environment. I felt really calm & got the blessings of Shirdi Sai Baba. Here are few pics that i'm sharing of the Puja Ceremony.
