Om Sri Sai Ram Adyatmika Chaitanya Sangam - Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir, Opp. Petrol Bunk, Korukonda Road, Rajahmundry.

Aum Sai Ram.

This is the 3rd Temple on which i'm writing article that I visited during my 15th Pilgrimage to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temples at Rajahmundry on Monday, 24th September 2012.

This temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba is around 19kms from Rajahmundry town & 5kms from Rajahmundry Airport. It is opposite to Sri Srinivas Petrol bunk & towards the right side when coming from Rajahmundry.

It is a very beautiful temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba & is maintained by Om Sri Sai Ram Adyatmika Chaitanya Sangam. The Sangh was initially started by late Sri Mohan Guruji & this temple is few of the branches established by guruji to propagate the teachings of Sri Sai Baba.

In 1989, when there were only few temples of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba at Rajahmundry, precisely one at Dowleshwaram & other at Paper Mills Road, the need to spread the grace of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba to one & all was the motive & the Om Sri Sai Ram Adyatmika Chaitanya Sangam was established by guruji.

Sri Tadi Aadi Reddy the President of this temple donated some land & planned to raise a temple for Sri Shirdi Sai Baba here.

In 1989, a Dwarakamai Potrait of Sri Sai Baba was installed in a small enclosure which is still present at the entrance of the temple & thus the temple was started. Every Thursday & Sunday, Bhajans, Satsangs, Devotees Experience & the Grace of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba along with prayer sessions were held at different homes in Korukonda village.

In 1995, A 6ft Black Granite Statue of Sri Sai Baba was installed at the then completed temple of Sri Sai Baba. Baba's Dhuni was installed at the left of the temple in the Flower Garden. Baba's Gurusthan with the Sri Dattatreya's Statue under the neem tree was installed to the right at the entrance of the temple.

Statues of Dattatreya's 5 Avatars are installed on the top of the temple on the entrance. Daily Aarti, Abhishek & Puja are performed in the temple Premises.

Every Thursday, Special Puja, Aarti, Bhajan, Satsang are performed & Annadanam to 200 Sai Devotees are performed.

During Sri Rama Navami, Guru Pournima & Sai Punyathithi Specual Puja's are performed in the temple premises.

Panchamrutha Abhishekam, Sai Satya Vratham with 108 Couples & Sahasra Gulabi Archana, Annadanam, Bhajan & Satsang is performed in this temple during Guru Pournima.

Sahasra Deepotsavam is performed on every thursday of Karthika Masa in the temple premises.

Around 1000 Sai Devotees are fed Prasad meals on all the special Occasions in the temple Premises. Plans to build Dining Hall & Meditation Hall is underway & the temple is Looking for Donation from Sai Devotees. Those willing to make some contribution towards the construction of the hall can speak directly with the Temple Secretary & Temple Purohit. We at Sai Photo Blog are in no way connected with the donation part & Sai Devotees would be suggested to check directly with the temple authorities in this Regard.

I'm now sharing few Snaps of the Statue of Sri Sai Baba that has been installed in this temple Sanctum.
