Sri Venkateshwara, Sri Kanaka Durga, Sri Shirdi Sai Alayam, LIC Colony, Nagireddy Nagar, Rajahmundry

Aum Sai Ram.

This is the 13th Temple visited by me during my 13th Pilgrimage to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temples at Rajahmundry on Thursday, 15th Mar 2012.

After my visit to Bhagwan Sri Shirdi Sai Mandir at Ramakrishna Nagar, I was informed about an other temple of Sri Sai Baba very close to this temple at Nagireddy Nagar. I was very happy to know about the existence of one more temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba near to the present temple i had gone to visit & enquired about the way i need to head towards to reach this temple.

Most of the roads look very similar inside the colony & it is always advisable to check out the route before travelling. There are so Many Baba temples that people usually get confused & guide us back to the temple we came from. I made this blunder & came back after spending 20 min back to the temple from where i started. So again asked for the proper route this time to visit this 3 temples.

Sai Baba's Sanctum has been installed along with the Sanctum of Sri Venkateshwara & Goddess Kanaka Durga. A Statue of Sri Ganeshji & Sri Dattatreya have been installed in the temple premises next to Sai Baba's Sanctum.

A 5ft Marble Statue of Sri Sai Baba has been installed along with the statues of Sri Venkateshwara & Goddess Kanaka Durga. This temple has been built during 2000. Annadanam on very large scale is performed on every thursday & around 300 Sai Devotees are fed complete prasad meals & this is the only most important activity the temple is performing. The Act of feeding the Hungry.

A Simple but elegant Simhasan has been installed & baba is made to sit on the simhasan. A Silver Crown & Foot Cover has been installed on the Marble Statue of Sri Sai Baba.

No Donation is collected in the temple for any program. Sai Devotees can contribute money for their Birthday's, Anniversary & other important programs & the same funds are utilised for feeding the poor.

Special Puja & Aarti, Bhajans are performed on thursdays along with Annadanam. Sri Rama Navami, Guru Pournima, Dussehra, Sai Punyathithi along with Goda Deva Kalyanam in the month of January are performed very grandly in this temple.

Palki Utsav is performed on all the special Days. Harikatha to encourage local artisans, Dance & Bhajans from the Bhajan Mandali's are organised during Ganesha Navarati, Dushera festivals. Around 3000 Sai Devotees are provided with Prasad during the ceremony.

Voluntart services are provided to the needy & the poor. Eduction funds are being alloted to the bright students from needy family yearly. Books, Stationary is provided during the start of the Academic year to Students in Govt Schools.
