This is the 2nd Temple visited by me during my 12th Pilgrimage to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temples at Arsikere & Tiptur on Saturday 11th Feb 2012.

My 12th Pilgrimage at Arsikere & Tiptur Started with a Visit to:
Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Mandira, Sainatha Road, Arsikere.

Tiptur town is attached to NH 206 connecting Bangalore with Honnavar & is at a distance of 150kms from Bangalore & 76kms from Tumkur & 20kms from Ariskere.

I started back from arsikere after my temple visit at 10:30am & reached tiptur by 11am. This temple of Sri Sai Baba is very close to the Tiptur Bus stand & is at a distance of around 300mtrs from the bus stand on Sai Baba Mandira Road, K R Extension.

Highlights of this Temple

The Temple was Sri Shirdi Sai Baba was Inaugurated in 1950. This temple was built by the efforts made by Sri. Chintapalli Bhaskar Shetty, Sri. K.T. Krishna Murthy and Dr.Anantharaman & Family.

A Small yet beautiful Marble statue of Sri Sai Baba along with Marble statue's of Sri Ganesh & Sri Satya Narayana Swamy is installed in this temple.

The Statue of Ganesh installed in this temple is considered to be the 1st Balamuri ganesha statue in Tiptur town.

A German Silver Idol of Sai baba & Silver Paduka is also installed in the temple and daily Abhishekam is performed to the Paduka & the Utsav Murthy.

A Bronze Statue of Sri Sai Baba has been installed at the courtyard & used during the festivals. Palki of Sri Sai Baba is also present in this temple & palki utsav is performed during special days. Marble Paduka of Sai Baba is also installed at the entrance of the temple.

The Rajagopuram was installed on 28th November 2005 by Dr. Sri Sri Sri Shivakumara Swamiji of Siddaganga Mutt.

Sheerabishekam is performed daily to the Silver Statue of Sai Baba. Special Puja & Archana are performed on Thursdays & other special Days.

Sankashta Chaturthi is performed from 04:00pm on Bahula Chaturthi Day of every month.

Sathya Narayana Vratham is performedfrom 04:00pm on Pournami Day of every month.

Sai Bhajans are performed on Thursdays after the evening aarti.

Sri Rama Navami, Guru Poornima, Sai Punyathithi, Shivratri & Ugadi are performed in a very grand way in this temple.

Temple Anniversary performed in Kartika Masa Annadanam is done on this day.

Sai Nama Japam is held from 07:0am to 07:00pm on Vaikunta Ekadashi Day of every year.
