Sri Datta Parampara Shirdi Sai Baba Dhyana Mandiram. Mandavalli Mandal, Krishna Dist, Andhra Pradesh.

Aum Sai Ram

This is the 3rd Temple visited by me during my 7th Pilgrimage to Shirdi Sai Baba Temples in Krishna Dist of Andhra Pradesh on 19th Aug 2011.

I reached this temple after the Madhyan Aarti at around 12:30pm after visiting the Sai Baba & Sri Shyamalamba Devi temples at kaikaluru. This is a very beautiful & Spacious temple build in 10000Sq ft Property. This Land has been donated to the temple trust by the Primary Health Care Centre at Mandavalli Mandal.

This temple of Sri Sai Baba is next to the Primary Health Centre & as the Datta Parampara has been installed in the Temple Sanctum, this temple is famously called as Sri Datta Parampara Shirdi Sai Baba Dhyana Mandiram.

This temple has been built by Sri G V V Prasad also known as Chitti Babu & he is the Temple Founder/ President. Foundation Stone to build this temple was laid on 20th November 2007. Prana Prathistha, Kalas Prathistha & Inauguration ceremony of this temple was performed on 17th June 2010.

A 6ft White Marble Statue of Sri Sai Baba procured from Jaipur has been Installed in the temple Sanctum. A Pancha Loha Simhasan has been Installed around the Statue of Sri Sai Baba. Silver Crown for Baba & Silver Cover for Paduka has been Installed in this temple. Nandi has been Installed in front of Sai Baba in the temple Premises.

Small Statues of Ganeshji & Dattatreya have been installed at the entrance of the temple at the Left & Right side of the Door Respectively.

Marble Statues of Saints Sri Dattatreya, Sri Swami Samartha, Sri Pada Vallabah, Sri Nrusimha Saraswathi, Sri Manik Prabhu & Sri Sai Baba of Datta Parampara has been installed to the right side of the Main Statue of Sri Sai Baba.

Dwarakamai with Baba sitting on Stone Potrait has also been installed inside the temple premises to the left side of the Main Statue of Sri Sai Baba. A Small Statue of Tortoise representing Vishnu has been installed in front of Dwarakamai Potrait.

Dhuni has been Installed to the left at the entrance of the temple. Dry Coconut & Coconut branches are only used as fire logs in this temple & the udi Smells more of less as Pure Coconut Oil.

A Statue of Sri Sai Baba made of Cement standing in Lendi Baug Posture has been installed on the first floor above the Water tank & it can be clearly seen from the entrance of the temple.

Palki & Cradle has also been kept in this temple & Palki Utsav is performed on Thursdays & other festive Days. Sai Baba's Utsav murthy is made to rest in the Cradle after the Shej Aarti is peformed at night.

Another Peculiar thing here is that small children upto the age of 5 with Sleeping Problems are brought into the temple in the after noon after the Madhyan Aarti & are made to sleep on a makeshift cradle made by tying Saree or Dhoti to the Roof. This helps them improve health & also helps them sleep properly there after at night. this has been followed from the beginning in this temple.

I was very lucky to visit this temple & experienced the Presence of Sai Baba in one & all for their Service & Dedication. I was lucky enough also to have my lunch with the deekshadari's after the Madhyan Aarti.

As the Weather Condition was very Harsh with high Humidity i was dehydrated & was not in a position to continue any further to Visit Sai Baba Temples. So I took 2 Hours rest in the temple premises & returned by to Vijaywada after meeting some Sai Devotees at Eluru.

I Visited Chennai During September 2011 & completed my 8th Pilgrimage to visit Sai Baba Temples. More on the Same in my Next Pilgrimage Article.
