Today we are going to visit the second Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir at Pithapuram Village in East Godavari Dist of Andhrapradesh. The First Sai Mandir visited by us was the Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir, Timmapuram. Pithapuram.
This temple is near the Uppada Bus Stand in Pithapuram village. Uppaada which is famous for its Sarees and Fish also has become an important landmark due to various miracles taking place at the Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir here. People Traveling in & out of Uppaada mainly visit this temple & take the blessing of the dieties here.
A Small 2ft Marble statue of Shirdi Sai Baba along with Ganeshji have been installed in this temple. Daily Abhishek & Puja is performed in this temple as per south indian puja tradition. Special Abhishek & Puja are performed on Thursdays, Sankatahara Chaturthi, Sankaranthi, Ugadi, Ram navami, Guru Poornima, Ganesh Chaturthi,Vijaya Dasami, Diwali & New Year.
Though this temple is not big or any thing special is done here, Devotees throng this temple due to he various miracles taking place from time to time in the surrounding area & it is beleived that after the construction of this temple, Road Accidents, Deaths & snake bites have reduced to considerable amounts.
