This is the 4th Temple visited by me during my 5th Pilgrimage to Shirdi Sai Baba Temples at Hyderabad between 16th - 19th Dec 2010. After my visit to Sai Baba Temple, Sai Nagar Colony, Saidabad, Hyderabad I visited this temple at Sri Lakshmi Nagar, Saidabad, Hyderabad.

This Beautiful Temple of Shirdi Sai Baba has been built at Sri Lakshmi Nagar, Saidabad, Hyderabad. I was able to meet Sri V Sambasiva Sastri, the founder Chairman of this temple & he was very eager to let me know the complete details of this Sai Baba temple.
This temple is built near to the Sri Venkateshwara Bhakta Samajam & the foundation stone for building the temple was laid on 1st March 2001. With a Span of 1 year the temple was completed & the beautifully Crafted Marble Statue of Sai Baba was installed on 25th Feb 2002.
There are 2 life size statues of Sai Baba. One at the Samadhi Mandir at the first floor & the other at the Gurusthan in the ground floor. Baba is sitting on a well designed Silver Simhasan & a Silver Arch with all the Gods & eminent Saints of India embossed on it is behind the Simhasan. A Small Statue of Dattatreya in next to the Sai Baba.
Palki Utsav of Sai Baba is performed on all the Thursdays & Special occasions. A Special Cot/ Cradle has been placed next to Sai Baba's Palki & the Utsav Murthy of Sai Baba is placed to rest after the Shej Aarti at 9:00pm.
A Chapter from Sai Baba is read on all the Days after the evening Aarti at the Samadhi Mandir. A 40ft Cement Statue of Sai Baba has been carved at the entrance of the temple. on 25th Feb of every year, Nijapada Darshanan of Sai Baba is performed & Sai Devotees are allowed to touch the Feet of Sai Baba Statue at the Samadhi Mandir.
All the 4 Aarti & Puja are performed by highly trained & skilled Purohits who have received formal training from Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan, Shirdi.
Nitya Annadanam is performed at the temple & around 100 people are fed complete meal on all the Days after the Madhyan Aarti. On Thursdays & Sundays around 500 people are provided with complete meal of Sabzi, Rice, Sambar, Butter Milk.
An Old Age home has been planned to be constructed opposite to the Sai Baba Mandir & the temple is collecting funds towards the same at present.
Gold Plated padukas have been procured & will be placed on the Paduka's at Samadhi Mandir on 25th Feb 2011 during the Temple Anniversary.

1. Temporary Shed with Sai Baba's Photo was Installed on Vijaya Dasami/Punya Thithi 2000.
2. Foundation Stone for the Construction of Sai Baba Temple was laid on 1st March 2001.
3. Prana Prathistha of Sai Baba was performed on 25th Feb 2002. Sri Chandra Babu Satpati an IAS Officer inaugurated the Sai Baba Temple. Vijayeshwari Mata of Nellore Participated in this event.
4. 40 Ft Cement Statue of Sai Baba has been carved in the entrance of the temple & was opened to Sai Devotees on 13th July 2003.
5. Every Year on 25th Feb, Nijapada Darshanam is performed & Sai Devotees are allowed to touch the feet of Sai Baba.
6. The Marble Statue of Sai Baba was Hand crafted by Sri Kanth from Kammam, Andhra Pradesh. The Highlight being the Statue was made from a Crafts Man from Andhra Pradesh. Makrana Marble was used to make the Statue of Shirdi Sai Baba.
7. All the 4 Aarthi's are sung by the temple priest as per the Shirdi Sai Sansthan Guidelines. The Head priest of the temple was sent to Shirdi to participate in the Priest Training Program & efficiently follows all the Rituals.
8. Dhuni Puja is performed at 11Am daily.
9. Nithya Annadhanam(Lunch) is provided at the temple after the Madhyan Aarti. Around 100 people are fed on all the Days. On Thursdays & Sundays around 500 Sai Devotees are fed the complete Meal.
10. Sri Sai Satya Vratham is performed on Poornima/Full Moon Day.
11. All Important festivals like Ram Navami, Guru Poornima, Vijaya Dasami, Punya Thithi, Diwali, New Year, Sankranthi & Ugadi are celebrated very grandly.
12. Sai Ekadashi Vratham is performed in the Temple.
13. Sai Baba's Gurusthan & Dhuni is in the Ground Floor. Sai Satya Vartham is also performed here. A Havan Kund is also present next to Dhuni where Nitya Homam is performed for Lord Ganesha & Sai Baba. Ground Floor also serves as Dining Hall to feed the People after the After noon Aarti.
14. First Floor houses Samadhi Mandir of Sai Baba. There is a Sanctum for Sri Dattatreya also. A Chapter from Sai Satcharita is read here daily.
15. Directly opposite to Sai Baba Statue there is a Mirror at the Samadhi Mandir. If we observe the Statue for the Mirror we can see a slight tilt of Sai Baba's Neck in the Mirror. This is Worth Observing.
16. The Second floor has a Mirror Mantap of Sai Baba with Mirrors in all the sides of the Statue. There are multiple reflections & we could feel a 3d effect of Sai Baba here. It is also used as a Meditation Hall by Sai Devotees. It is quite silent & calm. Very relaxing too.
17. A Special Room has been built in the 2nd floor & opened only when a Spiritual person/Sanyasi visits the temple & wishes to Stay in the Temple Premises. Other Days It is closed & no one is allowed to utilize the Room.
18. All the Gods & Famous Saints of India has been embossed on the Silver Arch behind the Simhasan at the Samadhi Mandir.
19. The Sai Baba Arch at the Entrance of the Colony is nicely designed With the Statues of Sai Baba, Ganeshji & Dattatreya. Even the Pillars of the Arch are very well designed.
